Reflection
Reflecting on my time in graduate school, I recall the challenges and growth I experienced, both academically and professionally. However, I believe that these challenges have helped shape me, much like how precious metals are molded in extremely high temperatures (Isaiah 48:10 – “Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”). Through my experience in child life, I have found personal salvation, and it has ignited a passion within me to continue spreading the positive impact of child life to the children and families I work with. I am thankful for the dedication of the professors and administrators of the TWU M.S. Child Life program in shaping and preparing strong, future Certified Child Life Specialists.
